Central Park, USA - A huge park with loads of amenities

The Central park, 341 hectare large, is situated in the centre of Manhattan. Its design has served as an exemplar for city parks around the planet. The park boasts numerous lakes, theatres, ice rinks, fountains, tennis courts, baseball fields, many open space and other amenities. It is also the abode to the Central Park Zoo and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Sports facilities can be found all over the park but most of the attractive sights are found in the lower half of Central Park. One gets to see historical buildings, statues, monuments, striking bridges, and of course plenty of nature. Some of it is quite rocky like the forest-like Ramble while other parts of the park are more manicured and feature gorgeous flowers and shrubs.
