These terms and conditions are applicable to the usage of the www.ftd.travel  website ("FTD") by you. FTD shall provide you (“User”) travel-related information, travel leads, pricing, availability and reservations for airlines, hotels, railway, holiday packages, bus and car rentals across cities and rural areas throughout India and abroad (“Service/s or FTD Services”). These Services may be availed by the User in India or outside India at any time during the year as is offered by various third party vendors like airlines, hotels, bus operaors etc.("Service Providers" or "Vendors"). The website is also for your education and information and is also used by us to obtain feedback with a view to providing information and services with respect to the leisure industry.

By accessing this site you agree to the following terms. In case you do not agree to the following terms please do not read or refer to the material on any of our pages.

Opening an Account
In order to become able to use the FTD, you must complete in full an application form on the Website. As part of the application, you will be asked to provide us with a Username and Password. This username and password will be used by you when using our services.

You are solely responsible for the confidentiality of your username, and password. In the event you have reason to believe your account, username and/or password is being used in an unauthorized manner, you agree to contact us promptly so that the appropriate modifications can be made to your account. Please be aware that information will be sent to your email address that you provided to us at the time of sign up.

Agreement to receive Mail
You hereby consent to the receipt of physical & electronic communication from us.

Contributions on website
Any activity you do on the website (Comments, Reviews, and Questions etc) becomes property of FTD. We reserve the right to modify or update that information suitably.

Viruses and Contamination of System
FTD is neither responsible nor liable for any viruses or other contamination of your system, nor for any delays, inaccuracies, errors or omissions arising out of your use of this site or with respect to the material contained on this site.

Linked Sites
Any linked websites in our website are not under our control and we are not responsible for the contents of any linked site or any link contained in a linked site, or any changes or updates to such sites. We are providing these links to you only as a convenience, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by us of the site.

Content and Intellectual property rights
All content on the website including but not limited to icons, buttons, logos, text etc, as well as any and all trademarks, whether registered or not constitute the exclusive intellectual property of the FTD and is protected under Indian law. You may not selectively download portions of the website without retaining the copyright notices You may download material from the website only for your own personal use and for no commercial purposes whatsoever. Any and all information that is submitted by you including but not limited to comments, feedback etc is the sole property of FTD which may be used in any manner the FTD deems fit. We provide all content to the best of our knowledge and we are not responsible for changes to third party content.

Limitation of Liability
FTD makes no warranty that this site will meet your requirements, the service or this site will be uninterrupted, the results that may be obtained from the use of this site will be accurate or reliable, any information or other material obtained by you through this site will meet your expectations and any errors in this site will be corrected.

We shall not be liable to you for any special, consequential, incidental, and exemplary or punitive damages, or loss of profit or revenues. We are also not liable under any circumstances for damages arising out or related in any way to your inability to access, or your difficulty in accessing, the website. We shall not be liable under any circumstances for damages arising out of or in any way related to products, services and/or information offered or provided by third-party vendors accessed through the website or by any other means. All content and information provided by FTD either through the website or otherwise is provided to you without warranty of any kind either expressed or implied, with regard to the merchantability, technical compatibility or fitness for a particular purpose with regard to any service, products or material provided by or through the website.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless FTD, and its officers, employees, agents, and any third party information providers to the Website, from and against all claims, actions, proceedings, expenses, damages and liabilities, which are the result of, or are in any way related to your use of the website.

Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by Indian law and the courts at Bangalore shall have exclusive jurisdiction in all matters arising out of or in connection with the use of the website by you.

Charges & Pricing
FTD does not charge any fees for browsing. FTD Travel is ONLY a ticketing/booking agent for various types of services. For example, FTD does not operate bus services or run flights of its own etc. In order to provide a comprehensive choice of bus operators or flights etc, departure times and prices to customers, it has tied up with many Vendors. FTD's advice to customers is to choose the Vendor they are aware of and whose service they are comfortable with. FTD is not liable for any Discrepancy / Deficiency in service by the Service Providers / Vendors of any service type.

Users can create free membership accounts on FTD for service booking. From time to time, FTD at its sole dsicretion will add new services, change existing services and remove some services as well.

Users shall be solely responsible for compliance of all applicable laws for making payments to FTD. GST Credit (if applicable) will be provided directly by the Vendor to the User and FTD will not be responsible for non-receivable of the same.

While FTD strives for quality products and services with accurate pricing information, typographical and other errors may occur. In the event the Service is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect service information due to an error, FTD may at it's disretion contact the User for instructions or cancel User's booking and notify User of such Cancel.

FTD will have the right to rectify the price of the Service and contact User for further instructions via e-mail address provided by User at the time of registration, or cancel the booking and notify User of such cancellation. If FTD cancels the order after the payment has been processed, the said amount will be remitted to User’s account from which the payment was made.

Payment Options
FTD Supports various Payment Methods like Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Rupay, Amex, Dinners etc), Internet Banking (around 100 Indian Banks), UPI, EMI, Wallets, etc through an online payment gateway system. FTD and the associated one or more payment gateway makes full effort to fulfill information security requirement and uses the latest encryption technology to protect and safeguard the Users Payment Methods and their details.


Any usage of Payment Gateway irrespective of the Payment Method will incur fees termed as PG Fees. It can be variable for different payment methods and can vary from time to time. FTD Travel reserves the right to charge any payment method as per their internal policy. Travel agents / Customers can use direct bank to bank transfer options to avoid PG fees levied by FTD Travel. Any subsequent charges for the payment done, by the Bank or Payment Gateway will have to be borne by the user/agent. PG Fees are non refundable in all cases.

All Payments for services purchased via FTD by all types of users (travelers or agents or any other type) have to be pre-paid. Incase the credit is extended/provided to any type of user, then it needs to be paid within the next working day. If the user misses his payment timelines, then FTD has the right to cancel the purchased service or any other purchased services of the same user or it's sister concerns to recover the money and penalty amount decided by FTD (upto 100% of the default amount).

Gateway Charges
Please note that FTD cannot control any fees or conversion rates that may be charged to User by their Banks or Financial Institution related to such a transaction and FTD disclaims all liabilities in this regard.


FTD Travel Special Fares
There are three types of FTD Travel Special Fares

  1. FTD Special ZERO / Normal Reschedule Charges
    • Reschedule request needs to reach FTD Travel atleast 36 hours for domestic flights and 72 hours for international flights before the original departure time. If the request does not come in this timeframe, then normal Airlines and FTD Travel Reschedule charges will be charged. However, Customer can also directly work with the airlines when the departure time is less than the above mentioned timeframe. Any charges imposed by the airlines in this regard, will need to be borne by the customer itself.
    • Exact flight details of the new flight needs to be provided for Reschedule request - Only one option will be handled for reschedule request.
    • FTD Travel takes 4 to 8 hours to respond during working hours for re-schedule request and is totally dependent on seat availability and airlines response. Incase the airlines does not provide timely or no response, FTD Travel cannot be held responsible for the same.
  2. FTD Special ZERO Reschedule, 50% Cancellation Fees, Free Meal
    • Reschedule details covered under FTD Special ZERO Reschedule Charges
    • Airlines & FTD Cancellation Charges will be charged at 50% For e.g. if Airlines cancellation charges were Rs 3000 and FTD Travel Charges Rs 499, then in this flight, the Airlines Cancellation Charges will be Rs 1500 and FTD Travel Charges as Rs 249. All Cancellation requests needs to reach FTD Travel before 36 hours in domestic flights and 72 hours for international flights before the original departure time. If the request does not come in this timeframe, then normal Airlines and FTD Travel Cancellation charges will be charged. However, Customer can also directly work with the airlines when the departure time is less than the above mentioned timeframe. Any charges imposed by the airlines in this regard, will need to be borne by the customer itself.
    • Free Meal is supposed to be provided by the airlines. However if for any reason, airlines does not provide the Free MEAL, no compensation will be provided by FTD Travel. MEAL Selection needs to be done by the customer on the airlines website. FTD Travel will not choose any MEAL type on customer's behalf
  3. FTD Special ZERO Cancellation / Reschedule Fees, Free Meal
    • Cancellation requests needs to reach FTD Travel atleast 36 hours for domestic flights and 72 hours for international flights before the original departure time. If the request does not come in this timeframe, then normal/standard Airlines and FTD Travel Cancellation charges will be charged.

  4. Student, Senior Citizen, Defense/Armed Forces
    • Appropriate ID Proof needs to be provided at the airport to justify the Student, Senior Citizen, Defense/Armed Forces etc fares at the airport. Incase the traveller cannot furnish the correct ID Proof then they will have to pay the fare/baggage etc difference at the airport. FTD Travel does not guarantee or is not responsible in any event of charges imposed by airlines or other appropriate authority for the same.


Refund, Cancellation & Re-scheduling Policy

In case of no-show or unutilized bookings, User shall be required to make requests for any valid and applicable refunds, as per Vendors’ policies or within 15 days from the travel date (whichever  is earlier). No refund would be payable for any requests made after the expiry of 30 days of travel date / check-in as aforementioned and all unclaimed amounts for such no-show or unutilized bookings shall accordingly be deemed to have been forfeited.

The refund shall be processed within 15-20 working days from the date of the cancellation request, after receiving back to back refund from the concerned Vendor. Payment will be refunded back into the same original payment instrument like the same credit card or bank account from which it was paid for the traveller. In case of Travel Agent (B2B Booking), refund or recharge or upload of any type is always credited in their agents FTD Travel's account balance. In case of agents account closure, the agent is supposed to consume its balance or clear their dues (if any). No money transfer will be done to travel agents bank account, in any circumstances.

In case User avails to book any of the Services offered by the Vendor and is, thereafter, not contactable on the contact details provided, then the tour/travel reservation selected by User will stand cancelled and FTD or the Vendor would not be liable for any charges/expenses incurred by User, either directly or indirectly in this regard

Any Refund Claims arising due to cancellation / delay of flight by the Vendor shall be subject to FTD Travel receiving the refund from the Vendor. In the Event Vendor does not refund the amount to the FTD, FTD shall not be held liable for the same

Cancellation/Re-scheudle of Flight Ticket upto 24 hours will be dealt by FTD. Less than 24 hours, the USER should cancel it directly with the airlines and inform FTD for the refund processing

FTD shall charge a cancellation fees - varying from time to time and transaction to transaction and type of service. This fees will be over and above the Airlines Cancellation Fees. Similarly for other service like Bus Tickets etc, FTD will add it's own cancellation fees over the Vendor's cancellation Fees

Cancellation Policy is defined and governed by the Vendor(like Airlines, Bus Operators, Hotel etc) and FTD Travel will not be able to do any changes around it. The cancellation fee of services (like Flight, Hotel, Bus etc) provided on the portal is indicative, which will depend upon the time of cancellation / re-issue as per the airline fare rules. Refund will only be processed once the USER informs FTD Travel and the Vendor has processed refund to FTD Travel. Refunds are processed based on the charges deducted by Service Providers / Vendors only irrespective of what charges were known pre-booking.

Partial Cancellation may or may not be allowed - This will depend on the Vendor's Cancellation Policy

Re-scheduling of Services (For e.g. Date Change in Flights) will incur Fare Difference, Airlines Re-schedule/Penalty Charges and FTD Re-schedule Charges

Domestic and International Booking/Cancellation/Re-schedule will have different amount of fees for different Services

Name Change, Title Change, Age Change, Sector Change etc is generally not allowed by Vendors - Any such changes or more (not covered here) will not be entertained by FTD. The User need to work directly with the Vendor and FTD will not be responsible / liable in any form

Once a confirmed ticket/service is booked/generated, Convenience Fees is not refundable under any circumstances. If you are booking a special discounted return fare then both sectors have to be cancelled together

The USER will be solely responsible for the Visa, Passport or any other requirement for the travel. FTD will not be responsible for any inadequacy of any form

Check the Baggage Allowance – Cabin and Check-in – No Free Baggage Allowance for Infants. Meals, Seats, Special Requests are not guaranteed. USER needs to check this with Vendor directly

Booking Confirmation
User should not take any action based on information on the Marketplace until User has received a confirmation of User’s transaction. In case of confirmations to be received by email, if User does not receive any confirmation of User’s purchase/transaction within the stipulated time period, User may first look into "spam" or "junk" folder to verify that it has not been misdirected, and if still not found, please contact FTD's call centre or login into the User Account section of FTD.

In case a booking confirmation e-mail or sms gets delayed or fails because of technical reasons or as a result of incorrect e-mail ID / phone number provided by the user etc, a ticket will be considered 'booked' as long as the ticket shows up on the confirmation page or in the User Account section of FTD.

The total price payable will be displayed to the User before making payment to the Vendor. Users are hereby informed that in case of a booking request being rejected by a Vendor (i.e. not confirmed by the applicable Vendor), any amounts collected by FTD for such booking will be refunded to the User’s Account used for making the payments.


Offer Fares / Series Fares / Group Fare or any other similar fares are non-refundable, non-changeable under any circumstances. In these types of bookings, more than one (non related) passenger is added in the same pre-purchased PNR. Names in this type of fares are updated between 8pm and 11pm, one night before the travel date. Hence, web checkin needs to be done by the passenger or the travel agency once the names are updated. Do note Airlines counter are not very friendly at some airports and machines may / may not operate. Also airlines may levy service charges for issuing boarding pass from the airport counter. Since these are collective passengers tickets, normal web checkin, meal selection, extra baggage purchase, wheel chair addition, GST or any other special services cannot be added in these tickets. Lastly in these types of fares, our fare rules supersedes airlines and hence no refund requests are entertained unless flight is cancelled or flight date/timing is changed by more than 6  hours in domestic flights and over 24 hours in international flights. No Show Refund or Insurance also cannot be claimed for this Fare Type. DGCA Policy is also not applicable on this faretype.


Name changes (minor or major) in any form cannot be done in these fares. In this type of fares (Offer Fares / Series Fares / Group Fare or any other similar fares), you are not supposed to contact airlines directly or any other body for any reason. FTD Travel should be your only point of contact for any purpose and the decision of FTD Travel will be final. Incase you contact airlines or any other body, your account might be disabled; your balance will be forfeited & a monetary penalty would be levied.


In case of schedule change and airlines provides multiple options, agent/customer has the choice to choose among the given options only within the given time. However, once names are updated in the revised itinerary, thereafter no changes will be accepted of any type. Also note if the agent/customer does not respond in the given time then Airlines / FTD Travel can choose any option. Under any circumstances, these fares cannot be sold, directly or in-directly by our travel agents, sub agents, partners, their downstreams etc on any direct B2C website, mobile app, meta search engines or any other similar channel.


Balance Upload

FTD Travel accepts payment by travel agents in various modes like Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, Wallets, UPI, Cash Deposit etc. Cash Deposit is restricted to a limit provided on the Upload /Money Management page. If there is a deposit of more amount then listed on this page, then FTD Travel will forfeit the entire cash deposited amount and also pass the penalty as per guidance from Income Tax department (100% of deposit amount) plus INR 1,00,000 towards FTD Travel penalty.


Offline Booking

FTD Travel avoids and do not recommends travel agents for doing offline booking with us. However, if the travel agents insists,  FTD Travel can do the booking on behalf of the travel agent  as a courtesy. Having said that FTD Travel will not be responsible for any  type of mistake like date, orgin city, destination city, itinerary details, pricing, name & details of the passenger etc. Travel Agent will be responsible for any mistake or issue in offline booking from FTD Travel. FTD Travel on any circumstances will not bear any expense or refund any part of the booking amount.


Promo Codes
FTD may generate promotion codes from time to time which may be availed on the site for discount, if applicable. FTD at its discretion, could add new promo codes, change or withdraw existing ones without any prior notice. Incase of any dispute with any party, FTD's decision will be binding and final.

When USER registers with FTD, FTD or any of its partners/afflilate/group companies/partners/vendors may contact User from time to time to provide information/offers of services that FTD or such other group companies believe may benefit User.


SOTO Fares
SOTO ticket means Sold Outside, Ticketed Outside – i.e. an airline ticket that has been bought and issued from India that doesn’t feature in the travel itinerary. In SOTO Ticket brought from FTD Travel, the origin and destination airport of flight ticket will be non Indian airports. FTD Travel is only content facilitator in SOTO tickets. Any post booking functions like reissue, time change, cancellation (by airlines or customer), etc is not supported by FTD Travel. Customer / Travel Agent need to contact airlines directly for any post booking functions.


Visa Issuance

  • We are a Visa facilitator only and do not influence any visa delays or immigration issues if occurred. Visa issuance is the sole prerogative of country's government. if Visa is refused or rejected or delayed due to any reason, we will not be responsible for the same
  • Visa/OTB and other related fees and Service charges once paid against this service reqeust cannot be refunded under any circumstances. They are NET & Non Commissionable
  • Please verify all Visa details, if any change or error on the Visa reported/sent to us after 2 hrs will not be corrected/entertained. In case there are corrections needed for misprint in visas from immigration/embassy, it takes about 4 to 5 working days. Incase of any discrepancies during Visa processing that cannot be fixed by issuing agency, liability of FTD Travel will be maximum to the amount of the Visa fees paid by the agent/customer
  • Please do not book your ticket, till the visa is approved, issued and received by you.
  • FTD Travel does not cover any medical insurance on any Visas, on hospitalization entire amount will be borne by the passenger or family only, if medical insurance not availed by the individual
  • Tourist Visa is meant for tourism purpose only and not for job searching, business work, meeting with friends and family etc. In all cases but Tourism, apply for Risk Free Visa only. Any misuse of Tourist Visa for non tourist purpose as mentioned, would be treated as policy violation and monetary/legal action will be taken.
  • Any absconding on our visa or falsifying of information to obtain Visa will be penalized and a fine subject to Country's norms will be paid by the travel agent.
  • In any policy violation, FTD Travel shall disable your account; cancel all your future bookings; your balance will be forfeited & a monetary penalty would be levied over and above the respective country's penalty

Users Responsibility & Liability
User shall be responsible for their own actions in utilizing the Services purchased by User, and FTD shall not be liable for any such action. FTD is only providing a platform for communication and it is agreed that the contract for Service shall be a strictly bipartite contract between the Vendor and User.

User represents that User is of legal age to form a binding contract with FTD and is not a person barred from receiving Services under the laws as applicable in India.

Any references to a Vendor being "verified" (or similar language) only indicate that the Vendor has completed a reasonable verification process. Any such description is not an endorsement, certification or guarantee by FTD about any Vendor, including of the Vendor's identity and credibility. FTD therefore recommends that you always exercise due diligence and care when deciding whether to avail services from a Vendor, or while having any other interaction with them.

Upon receiving User’s complaint, FTD shall inform the relevant Vendor of such complaint and request for an explanation. Users are required to refrain from raising frivolous and baseless complaints. User expressly acknowledges that the Vendor providing the deficient Service will be solely responsible to User for any claims that User may have in relation to such defective service and FTD shall not in any manner be held liable for the same.

Unless due to User’s negligence, in the event the Vendor fails to complete a delivery of any Service, User acknowledges that the Vendor will be liable to make any applicable refunds or payments. User agrees that FTD will not be held liable for failure of the Vendor to make available any Service therein.

FTD reserves the right at all times to disclose any information as is necessary to satisfy or comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, or to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, in FTD's sole discretion.

In no event shall FTD, its officers, directors, employees, partners or vendors be liable to User, the Vendor or any third party for any special, incidental, indirect, consequential or punitive damages whatsoever, including those resulting from loss of use, data or profits, whether or not foreseeable or whether or not FTD has been advised of the possibility of such damages, or based on any theory of liability, including breach of contract or warranty, negligence or other tortuous action, or any other claim arising out of or in connection with User’s purchase of the services herein.

FTD shall not assume any liability for the non-availability of the Services where required or any action or inaction that might be taken by the Vendor. FTD Travel can add, edit, change or update the above mentioned terms and conditions, without any prior notice.
