Though Guindy national park is not so long stretched but is great and interesting place to explore. Covering an area of 2.70 sq. kms, Guindy National Park serves as a shelter to innumerable species of animals and birds. Being one of the favorite spots for tourists in Chennai, this national park houses a Children’s Park and a snake Park. The park gives a roof to so many species; for eg. If we talk of flora, then there are more than 24 varieties of trees in this national park and among the wildlife, the main attractions are black buck, deer, jungle cat and toddy cat. Other than these, lots of species of animals and about more than 37 birds species could be seen in this national park of Chennai.
