The place which highly means especially for Catholic Christians all over the country, fortunately, founds in Chennai of India named the Santhome Cathedral Basilica. It is one of the most holy places for Christians built by the Portuguese during their ruling era between 14th and 15th century. Later on, the British took over the entire control in 1740 of this adorable site. Actually, the name is the Tamil version of St. Thomas. Having great attraction, the Church is beautifully built in the Neo-Gothic architectural style. The structure of the church is mind-blowing with 155 feet height and 33 feet wide. The church also houses a museum which displays the relics relevant to St. Thomas.
