Birla Planetarium, Chennai, Tamil Nadu - Its cosmic shows presented in two languages
Who in this world not fond of witnessing the entire planetarium revolving around them!!! Of course all of us! This dream comes true at the Birla Planetarium, a new attraction added to Chennai. This planetarium is famous for its cosmic shows organized in two languages – Tamil and Hindi. Situated at Kotturpuram, Chennai, the planetarium was constructed in 1988 in order to memorize the famous industrialist named B.M.Birla. This planetarium was launched with total modern techniques and tools. GM II Projector is the main highlight of this planetarium and other than this, it houses a classroom studio and a seminar hall. The planetarium is not to be missed site in Chennai.
