Graz, Austria - famous buildings,landhousings

Scenic

The old capital of Styria and Austria's second biggest township, Graz is the economic and commercial center of the whole region. It lies on the River Mur, which here emerges from a slender tarnish to enter the lush basin known as the Grazer Feld. Above the township is a well-known hill, the Schlossberg. Graz, the seat of the provincial government and a chief industrial township, has a University, a Technical College, diverse institutes and an Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Its tourist attractions comprise many historic old buildings; these and the old township with copious Baroque facades are of great interest.
