Chavadi, Shirdi, Maharashtra - The place where Sai Baba used to sleep

During the last few years of his life, Sai Baba used to come to Chavadi with his nearest followers on alternative nights to sleep. This place was very significant as Baba used to go on a procession from Dwarkamai to Chavadi, thus a grand palki procession is organized on every Thursday night with the idol of Sai Baba, his holy padukas and satka associated with huge crowd. This grand procession begins from the Samadhi Temple, then to Dwarkamai Mosque and finally reaches to Chavadi. And then again it comes back to the temple where the worship of Baba is done with the ‘Sej Arti’.
