Shri Khandoba Mandir, Shirdi, Maharashtra - An ancient temple dedicated to Khandoba, the presiding deity of Shirdi
Dedicated to Khandoba, the presiding deity of Shirdi, this temple is also a major attraction in the town. It houses icons of Khandoba who is considered to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva, Banai and Mhalsai. Inside the temple premises, one can see two small shrines. One of the shrines has an idol of Sai Baba and his padukas and another houses the idol of Khandoba’s horse known as Shyamsunder.
