Sited in Chandrashekhar Azad Park, Minto Park is one of the must-sees in Allahabad. Not only in the city, the Allahabad museum also holds popularity throughout the country. Other than display of rare artifacts, the museum is also famous for its wonderful enclosure of green lawns. In 1931, the foundation stone of the museum was put which was later on, inaugurated by first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in the year 1947. The museum gains continuous popularity because of its amazing collection of belongings of time period of Sunga, Gupta and early medieval period.
