Allahabad faces subtropical type of climate throughout the year which keeps the city humid most of the time. The city undergoes scorching summers, moist monsoons and arid summers. But the best time to get there is during winters.

 

Summers in Allahabad are very hot and full of sweating. Therefore, it is better to avoid this season to be there. The temperature ranges from 30°C to 45°C during this season and the months that faces summers begins from March and continues till June.

 

Monsoons in Allahabad are quite relaxing and people feel much comfortable to get rid off hot summers. The temperature falls to great extent in months of monsoons. The monsoons begin from the month July and ends till September. But then also, this month is not too good for exploring the city for its full charm.

 

Winters in Allahabad are very pleasant and shivering too. The temperature varies from 3°C to 12°C during winters in the city. The month that faces winters in the city are from December to February.

 

The best time to get to Allahabad is between October and March. This time period is best for sightseeing in the city and also for witnessing all the attractions with full joy and pleasure.
