Being the main religious city of Uttar Pradesh, the list of attractions here is compiled of innumerable temples. Mankameshwar Temple is one of the long lists and is the temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located very close to Saraswati Ghat, the temple is perfectly situated on River Yamuna. Literally, the name of the temple means “Fulfillment of wish” and therefore, people believe that all the devotees who came here to bow their heads in front of Lord Shiva get their wishes fulfilled. Especially, during the month of Sawan as per Hindu Calendar, the prayers done by the devotees are more fruitful.
