Being an icon of religious destination, ShriShriGovindajee Temple is one of the most popular temples among the Vaishnavite devotees. The structure of this temple is too simple having a golden dome and also a worshippers’ high raised hall. The temple is situated just close to the palace of Manipur rulers and Lord Vishnu is the main God of this stunning temple. The idol of Lord Vishnu is accompanied with the images of Lord Krishna and Lord Balaram on both the sides respectively. Rajarishi Bhagyachandra was the man behind an idea of construction of this pious temple in the 18^th century.
