In the belt of north-east India, among the lakes, Loktak Lake is one of the most famous lakes with absolute fresh and clean water. Also, it is the largest lake having so many vegetation bodies called “Phumdis” floating on the surface of this gorgeous lake; due to this the lake is also referred as “Floating Lake”. One can see a hillock named “Sendra” located in the Loktak Lake Island which lies at a distance of 48 kms away from Imphal. What one could see from there is stunning picturesque of Loktak Lake just standing on the top of Tourist Bungalow located on the top of Sendra Island.
