Narsinhwadi, Kolhapur, Maharashtra - Spectacular views and serene environment
Today’s one of the main attractions among the nearby attractions of Kolhapur named Narsinhwadi, located at 55 kms from the city, was thick forest during ancient times. This small village is also famous as Narsobachi Wadi. The place got its identity in form of pilgrim center named as Shri Dattatreya. Narsinhwadi, who was an incarnation of Lord Dattatreya, resides here for nearly about twelve years. But, one could not see his idol to be worshipped here but his “Padukas” are present here! The place is not only famous for its superb atmosphere but is also popular for the cultivation of corn, cucumber and brinjal!
