Located at MauzaDandimalaSahi, Narendra Tank is one of the largest tanks not only in Puri but in the entire Orissa state of India. Constructed in the 15^th century, this Narendra Tank holds great place at the time of “ChandanaPushkarini” and is only 2km away from Jagannath Temple. It is the famous ChandanaYatra of Lord Jagannath which held every year. This tank is so beautiful and striking because it is enclosed with numerous temples. This tank has water level 10 feet below the road level and has 16 Ghats for bathing. The other main attracting point of this tank is a small magnificent temple of ChandanaMandapa located in the center.
