Established in the 11^th century, the Loknath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple holds great place in the devotees of Lord Shiva in Puri. This magnificent temple is located to the west side of the Jagannath Temple. According to a legend, Lord Rama founded the shivling of this astounding temple and the main attraction of this shivling is that it always remain under water because of a famous belief that Goddess Ganga flows from the top of shivling as a stream.
