Both the museums namely Everest Museum and Mountaineering Museum are situated very close to each other. The huge collection of Everest Museum takes you back into the history concerned with the climbing of Everest. This museum is situated at a height of 7000 feet on the Jawahar Hill, sited at the Lebong Cart Road. From there, Darjeeling Chowrasta is only 2 kms away. Mountaineering Museum is among the oldest museums and was formed in 1957. This museum is located just next to the Everest Museum.
