Hovering in an area of 1962 hectares, an interesting wildlife sanctuary is situated just close to Dalhousie named Kalatope Wildlife sanctuary. It is one of the favorite and popular wildlife sanctuaries in entire state. The sanctuary is well-laid with the help of water available from the Ravi River. The flora and fauna of the sanctuary is really marvelous and is home to different types of plantations and to various rare species of animals like Leopard, Deer, Squirrel, Langur, and many more. Himalayan Beer is the most liked animal of the wildlife. Also, other than trekking, tourists also love to get involved in Jungle Safari.
