To reach Dalhousie, the famous hill station of Himachal Pradesh, is quite easy and simple. The city can be arrived by all the three means of transport – by air, by road and by train.

Reach Dalhousie by Air

Reaching Dalhousie through air is one of the comfortable and time-saving means of transport. Though the station has no airport of its own but the closest one is situated in the Gaggal Area, Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated only at the distance of 135 kms from Dalhousie. From there, one could hire taxi or luxurious bus for further journey.

Reach Dalhousie by Road

One can get to this awesome destination through the road network also. The hill station has connectivity through many cities directly like from Jalandhar, Katra, Chamba, Amritsar, Delhi, Palampur, etc. Therefore, after reaching any of these cities, one can reach Dalhousie directly.

Reach Dalhousie by Train

Being the hill station, it is not at all possible to reach Dalhousie directly through the train and therefore, it has no railway station of its own. The nearest railhead is located the Pathankot which is only 80 kms away from Dalhousie. So, one would get numerous trains for reaching Pathankot from many cities of India and thereafter, one can hire taxi for covering only minimal distance of 80 kms.
