Esplanade Park, Finland - Hotels

Monuments, Health Resorts, Amusement Park

The Esplanade Park has long been dotted by cafés and restaurants. Down each side are sparkling shopping streets, the North Pohjois and South Etelä Esplanades. The Park runs from Erottaja in the west to the souk Square in the east. The Neo-Renaissance buildings evocative of other European cities were construction on the Esplanades to restore the old stilted houses in the latter half of the 19th century. One of the most grand is the Kämp Hotel on the corner of Kluuvikatu. Esplanade Park in the centre of Helsinki consists of two active streets – Northern and Southern Esplanade – and a longitudinal, boulevard-like park between them.
