Located in the heart of Jalandhar, the Devi TalabMandir is a much sought after religious attraction in the city. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga and is said to be 200 years old. It is ranked among one of the 51 Shaktipeeths in India and every year thousands of devotees come here to worship Lord Shiva and Goddess Durga. The temple also houses an ancient temple of Goddess Kali and an old tank. Nowadays, a beautiful structure resembling the famous Amarnath Cave Temple of Jammu has also been built here. Moreover, the temple is also renowned for the annual ‘HarballabhSangeetSammelan’ held here in the month of December.
