Kartarpur Gurudwara is a famous Gurudwara in Jalandhar which was built by Guru Arjun Devji in 1656, the fifth Sikh Guru. It is located about 16 km from the main city at Kartarpur which is also known as the birth place of Swami Virjananda, the guru of Swami Vivekananda. A memorial has been built here in the memory of Guru Vrijananda. On the birth anniversary of the Guru Arjun Devji, a fair is held at the Gurudwara premised where a number of devotees gather and seek the blessings of the Guru.
