Changu Lake, Gangtok, Sikkim - Mesmerizing views and stunning picturesques
Situated at a height of 12310 feet on the Nathu La highway, the lake is also known as Tsomgo Lake. The lake is located at a distance of 35 kilometres away from Gangtok. This Changu Lake is oval in shape and is 15 meters deep and one kilometre long. This lake is an ideal spot to spend quality time with family and friends amidst the nature. At the lakeside, a temple of Lord Shiva is also constructed. The tribe of the region believes that the lake is a sacred place. One can enjoy fishing in the beautiful fresh water of Changu Lake.
