Rankala Lake is one of the top-rated attractions in Kolhapur. The lake is very gorgeous and watching the views, especially, the panoramic views of sunset and sunrise are not to be missed event of any tourist. The lake is an outcome of the efforts of Chhatrapatis of Kolhapur. Boating is highly preferred here at this lake. There is a “Chowpatty” around the lake which has so many stalls offering different mouth-watering snacks. In the center of the lake, you will see a famous temple of Lord Ranka Bhairav. The temple is visited by doing boating and after getting there, no one could resist himself by being there whenever he is in Kolhapur!
