Hovering over an area of 53 sq. kms, the Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the best outskirts in Kerala. It is situated only at the distance of 50 kms away from Trivandrum, the wildlife was set up in the year 1938. This sanctuary is famous for so many reasons like stunning views of damsite, beautiful streams, dense vegetation and also great sites for trekking purpose. Wildlife is home to various wild animals and also rare bird species. One could enjoy watching animals like sambar, leopard, Asian elephant, etc. and among birds, Small Sunbird, Malabar Grey Hornbill, and so on can be traced!!
