Vansada National Park, Surat, Gujarat - wildlife and bird watching

Blessed with amazing natural splendor, Surat of Gujarat has one of the main attractions in its hub named the Vansada National Park. Actually, the national park lies very close to Surat only at the distance of 80 kms from the Valsad station of Gujarat. The park was commenced in 1979 and since then, it was home to many rare species of wild animals like antelope, barking deer, pangolin, rusty spotted cats, leopards, etc. and also bird watchers find it haven for numerous bird species like shama, great black woodpecker, leaf birds, etc. This national park is best visited in the months from October to March.
