Saroornagar Lake, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh - Look for migratory bird

Spread over 99 acres, Saroornagar Lake is one of the beautiful lakes in the city of Hyderabad. The lake was created in the year1626 and was later restored by the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority in 2003-04. The lake was actually created for agriculture and drinking purposes and now it serves as one of the major water bodies of the city. The lake has a maximum depth of 6.1 meters and is a home to several migratory birds that return to the lake every year. Although this place is not that hotspot in Hyderabad but one should visit the lake to dig into the history of the city.
