Kruger National Park, South Africa - Wildlife, Scenery

Wildlife, Amusement Park

The Kruger National Park in South Africa is one of the greatest game reserves in the world, and it is hard to illustratethis enchantment of this place in words. Untouched, unspoilt, unhurried and beautifully conserved for years for the generations to enjoy. The Kruger National Park is home to an amazing variety of species, counting, 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 520 birds and 147 mammals, including the well-known 'big 5'. Interestingly, the term 'big 5' refers not to the 5 biggest mammals in the Park, but it dates back to those early days of hunting when the buffalo, leopard, lion, elephant and rhino where considered the most dangerous animals to hunt.
