Kharga Golf Club is one of the oldest golf courses in India. It was established in 1891 by the Britishers at Ambala cantonment. In 1972, it was handed over to the army. It then got expanded and called as Golden Golf Club. Later on in 1980 when Kharga Corps headquarter was shifted to the Ambalacantonment; it was renamed as Kharga Golf Club. Certain developments have been made to the club and nowadays, it is a nice place to be seen in Ambala.
