Popularly known as the National Museum of Mankind, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya covers an area of 200 acres. Nestled at the Shamla Hills, it is the only museum with the tribal habitat in the whole world. It is the only museum that provides great display of ancient painted rock shelters. The museum is just copy of the tribal life and is well-located in one of the main pre-historic sites.
