Qudisiya Begum built this striking mosque in 1837 and today, it is among the most popular sites to see in Bhopal. The main attracting feature of this mosque is its two giant pillars that can be perfectly viewed even from a greater distance. Therefore, this famous monument has no dearth of tourists throughout the year. The mosque retains its beauty and glamour with its fabulous Islamic architectural style and also its white colored alabaster arches. A small beautiful pond in its premises and marble made hall is also very alluring. This pond was added to this magnificent mosque after restoration in 1947.
