Dhanushkodi Temple is a fantastic temple enveloped by water on all the four sides. Located near the Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean, the temple is at the southern tip of India and earlier got completely washed away by cyclone in 1965. Now the visitors can see the remnants of this historical town. According to mythology, it is said that Lord Rama has his feet even in this place and entire saga of Ramayana revolves around here.
