Adam’s Bridge holds a historical significance as it is considered to be the place which was constructed by Lord Rama with the monkey sena to reach Lanka and hence also known as Rama Setu. According to an Islamic legend, it is said that Adam used this bridge to reach Adam Peak situated in Lanka.
