Located along the North Sikkim Highway, Tashi View Point offers the visitors the breathtaking view of Mt. Khangchendzonga, one of the most overwhelming peaks in the world. At a distance of just 8 km from Gangtok, this view point also holds an observatory tower and a cafeteria and a small park where the tourists can also enjoy picnics.The best time to visit the place is in early morning when one can also catch the glimpses of the Phodang and Labrang Monasteries situated at the hill on the opposite side.
