Menmecho Lake, Nathula, Sikkim - A fresh water mountain lake
Located at a distance of 20 km ahead of the Tsongmo Lake on the way to the Jelepa Pass, Menmecho Lakeis a fresh water mountain lake in the Nathula pass route. It is the source of the Rangpo Chu River which is a tributary of the River Teesta and is created by the melting snow of the nearby mountains and monsoon rains. It is famous for its trout and there is a large fish farm nearby it but it is now closed for the tourists.
