Located in the proximity to the Tomb of Muhammad Ghaus, Memorial of Tansen is other attraction of the city. It is also popularly known as “Tomb of Tansen”. The place is not only mere historical monument but is also perfectly maintained by having an enclosure of lush green garden. This garden is astonishingly developed in the Mughal style of architecture. Tansen was the famous musician and was great follower of the Drupad style and he also gave birth to his own Gwalior Gharana style. The place is also famous for Tansen festival held annually at this tomb and thus, makes this tomb more attention-grabbing!
