Being a historical city, Gwalior is a hub of magnificent palaces and forts and Man Mandir Palace proves it completely. Man Singh Tomar constructed this beautiful palace in the time period between 1486 and 1516. The palace was beautifully constructed but it retains its charm and magic even today also. The tiles of the palace are wonderfully painted with different unique designs and therefore, the palace is also popular as ChitraMandir. The palace also houses a Jauhar Pond and a circular prison to attract its visitors.
