Presently known as Chandan Talao, this lake is a magnificent place to be seen in the middle of the city. Built with stone banks and masonry, the lake flooded with water offers a heavenly place to enjoy pleasant evenings for the locals and the tourists all round the year. Recently, a 120 feet tall statue of Lord Shiva has been erected in the middle of the lake that looks simply stunning and attracts the attention of the visitors from far away. The lake offers spectacular view on the moonlit nights and the visitors can enjoy this exhilarating beauty while boating in the lake. Special lightings are done across the lake during weekends.
