Sun Temple is also known as Katarmal, the Sun Temple is one of the most ancient temples in the region. It is located 25 km from the town and is said to be 800 years old. Encircled by 44 small shrines, the temple is dedicated to God Sun and is renowned for its exquisite architecture and beautiful stone carvings. Built in the 12^th century, the temple is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. In order to reach the temple, the tourists are required to pass through a thrilling trek route across the soaring mountains and lush greeneries.
