Kumaon Regimental Centre Museum and Memorial is attractive memorial is towering over the Somnath ground in Ranikhet. It was built in 1974 to symbolize the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian soldiers of the region. Several young boys before becoming soldiers take a pledge of loyalty at this place. A museum is also built at this place which was built in 1978 and is a must see attraction. The motto behind the establishment of this museum was to preserve and exhibit the legacy of Kumaon Regiment.
