Ranchi museum was established in the year 1974. The museum displays many items like the stone sculptures, numismatics, arms, ethnological objects and terracotta. The museum is situated at a place called as Morabadi area in Ranchi. The museum depicts the tribal culture of the Chota Nagpur Plateau. It serves to be a historical lineage of tribal culture. It consists of rare collection of many spectacular statues which were present during the ages of the Mughals. The paintings are found to be artistic and amazing.
