Marine National Park, Jamnagar, Gujarat - The first marine national park of the country

Designated as the first marine national park of India in 982, this enchanting park is sprawled in an area of 458 sq km. The park is consisted of an archipelago of 43 islands and is renowned for its unusual species of marine creatures, coral reefs and mangroves. You can see multitude of colorful tropical fishes, turtles, dolphins, crabs, ducks, egrets and other wonderful marine life into the park. Moreover, the park is also home to several rare species of migratory birds which can be spotted during the monsoon season and makes it a haven for the bird watchers. The ideal time to visit the park is from October to February.
