Located at 10 km from Jamnagar, the Khijadia Bird Sanctuary is a much sought after tourist attraction for bird lovers. Dotted with seasonal freshwater shallow lake, mudflats, creeks, saline land and mangrove scrub, the sanctuary is a highly acclaimed breeding ground of the crested grebe. Moreover, it also serves as a breeding ground for purple moorhen, black winged stilt, tailed Jacana, little grebe and coot.
