Mount Uhud in Saudi Arabia is the site of the famed Battle of Uhud which was fought on 23 March, 625 CE. This striking region forms an inherent part of the Saudi Arabia Travel Guide. Extending from East to west the mount has a gradient towards the north and wraps a total of seven kilometers in length and three kilometers in breath. The Mount Uhud can be effortlessly reached from the Medina as it is situated just five kilometers north of Medina. Often seen as a pilgrim place, the Mount has well-built historic significance and ranks high in the list of Saudi Arabia Tourist Attractions.
