The Milagres Church located at a distance of 0.5 kilometres from the mangalore railway station. This church is popularly called as the Church of Our Lady of Miracles. It is the most popular church in mangalore city. It was built in 1680 by the Bishop Thomas de Castro. Its widely known for its beautiful architecture. The altar of this church is adorned beautifully with the French paintings. The pedestals are surrounded by six statues of apostles. It is a very magnificent structure and the marble altar was the gift of late Nicholas Britto.
