Kos Minar, Ambala, Haryana - A historical monument

Kos Minar is an ancient historical attraction in the city that showcases glimpses of Mughal architecture. However, the monument is presently in ruined condition but it is declared as a protected monument by the Ancient Monuments Preservation Act. The tower is surrounded by a huge market and the shopkeepers and hawkers there are trying hard to take over this land in their hands. Though certain renovations have been made to the tower but still proper conservation is necessary to keep this ancient heritage in a better form.
