Jhansi Fort is one of the main attractions in Jhansi. It was constructed by Raja Bir Singh during early 17^th century. This massive fort was constructed on the pinnacle of the hill for safeguarding the city. Gradually, the fort took the shape of residential building. The fort has undergone through different colors of past history and faces lots of bloodshed. Within the premises of gigantic fort, there is a museum which speaks a lot about the Bundelkhand history through display of various rare artifacts. Other than museum, there is a Karak Bijli Tank to attract you. The fort is not only spectacular from inside but is also mind-blowing from outside.
