It is home to various rare species of birds and wild ferocious animals like wild buffaloes, sambhar, tiger, barking deer and much more. Being located at a drive of 35 kms from Dimapur, the sanctuary is enclosed with lush green vegetation. Covering an area of 200 sq.km, the sanctuary is very maintained and the best option for a day excursion with the family and friends.
