The Fort Aguadais a well-preserved seventeenth-century Portuguese fort. Overlooking the Arabian Sea, the Fort gives a flaunting view. Constructed in 1612 to guard against the Dutch and the Marathas, this Old Portuguese fort stands on the south of Candolim. The fort once used to house 79 cannons that are one of its major attractions. The light house in this fort also attracts many travelers.
