Doddabetta Peak is the main reason for many people to visit Ooty as it is erected at altitude of about 2,623 meters from where one can capture mind-boggling views in their heart as well as cameras. This peak is the topmost point around the Ooty and is famous as one of the highest peak in South India. Therefore, Doddabetta Peak adds a lot to popularity of Ooty, main hill station of South India. At this peak, there is “Telescope House” which offers superb views of the Ooty and this house is under the control of the Tamil Nadu Tourism development Corporation.
